At Velocity Church, we believe that Jesus is the answer to life's biggest questions. Whether you're new to the faith or have been following Jesus for years, we’re here to grow in relationship with Him together.
We're not a church for just "church" people. In fact, we gather together especially because we want people who don't go to church to have a place to which they can come and maybe for the first time, discover that following Jesus starts with meeting people where they are: messiness, brokenness, imperfections and all.
Every time Jesus spent time with people, he didn't ignore anyone, he didn’t view anyone as being beneath his dignity or leave them to deal with their messes alone. Instead of condemning anyone, Jesus embodied God's message of hope for all by giving all of himself for us. Ultimately, sharing that message is the why behind everything we do to help others.
When we put everything together that Jesus modeled for us: first helping others and then sharing the fullness of his grace and truth with others, it will accelerate our journey of faith, a journey we all share toward a love for God that will impact our lives and the lives of everyone we meet.
Before you attend one of our gatherings, you need to know that we’re not too big on rules here at Velocity. But we must insist on a few…
If you’re looking for a “perfect” church, you’ve come to the wrong place. But if you happen to find one, please send us the address so we can attend! Church is supposed to be a place for imperfect people (aren't we all?) with real-life issues and questions about faith, family, career and daily living. They want answers they can trust. And that’s what Velocity is all about.
Life is full of twists and turns along a bumpy and confusing road. Everyone - and we mean EVERYONE - needs a hand along the adventure. Velocity is a community where you can be known and supported by a loving community of other imperfect people journeying toward God together.
No matter who you are or where you've come from, your journey of faith has a story...and that's a story worth telling. It matters because it’s who you are. At Velocity, your story is valued and accepted just because of how much worth you have to Jesus..
When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, we become new creations. We’re able to make a positive difference in the world by serving as His hands and feet.
